(See, the magic of sleep deprivation is, you don't even notice you're slipping in and out of various half-dream states, talking to yourself, drifting into lifelike fantasy - you are completely lost to be honest, and soon all your bodyparts will start to hurt - but you don't mind, you know that in a few hours you'll be back to bed and you will sleep it off. Can't say that you tried your best - coffee at 11, cigarettes at 1a.m., listening to the radio, then tripping on your own mind-boggling apocalyptic bullshit - you'd love to take revenge on the world and you would if you could, I think you'd even want to make that boy cry, especially because you know he never cries, he's a good boy but he's emotionally detached and you are not the one to reattach him - it's been hard work done by the universe arranging his life this way, making circumstances shape him this way, all for you in this very moment of time - who are you to change the flow of the river?
